It is time to have fun! The engagement session allows the couple to paint a beautiful glance of their love story. During this session we encourage the husband and wife to think outside the box, allow your personalities to shine and put on your best fashion. Think about where you met, what do you love to do together, places you love to go, are you a sports fans, music lovers, super adventurous?What sceneries meet your love language ( parks, museums, art, beach, city life) that you will like to incorporate in your engagement session?This will help narrate what style of engagement session you are looking to achieve.

The Session
Typically during the engagement session, you may do up to 3 attire changes depending on the length of your session. Engagement sessions are usually 1 to 3 hours based on what the couple wants included (i.e. location changes, theme, etc.). Ladies if you are doing professional make-up (recommended for enhancement of the beauty) be sure to factor that in your schedule before your session time. Gentlemen, a nice tape always make life much easier! My approach is to capture the natural candid moments between you both, which allows you to get more comfortable in front of the camera!
What to Wear and What to Bring
Wear an excited smile! It's about to go DOWN!!! Keep in mind that you are getting MARRIED - these moments will last a lifetime. The outfit, location, and theme should be a reflection of the couple. Ladies we encourage you to bring flats, and gentlemen bring an extra set of arms! You both will need your choices of the attire you have selected; (Formal, casual, always do the job). You may also bring props that you will like to use during the duration of your session.
What to Expect
In order to help you design the perfect photography package for your wedding, I need to know several things, including the date, time of day, wedding and reception venues, the size of your wedding party, color & theme, and the number of expected guest. I look forward to meeting you soon? It’s important for me to get to know you and hear your love story. I’d love to find out how and where you met? How did he propose? Did you cry? I want to know all about it because it helps me better understand who you both are which will help me when capturing your love story.
Getting to Know Each Other:
During the process of planning your picture needs, we love it when we are able to build relationship with the client. Eight weeks Prior to your wedding day, I will email you a questionnaire for more detailed information about you as a couple. This will help me understand your love story and make your session unique.
Checking the Plans:
Our team keeps close contact with your wedding planning and coordinating team to ensure we are moving at one smooth beat. One month before your wedding, I will contact your wedding coordinator to ensure your photo session is included in the wedding schedule. I want to make sure your wedding day goes smoothly and the focus is on the bride and groom.
Finalizing Finance:
Full payment for the photography services is due Four weeks prior to your wedding day.
It's Almost Time:
One week before your wedding, I will contact you to go over the session details one last time and make any last minute changes.

GETTING READY AND WEDDING DETAILS
The start of a magical day. We will arrive an hour before the ceremony to take shots of the bride and her bridesmaids as well as the groom and his groomsmen getting ready.

It’s all in the details. We will take close-up shots of the wedding rings and floral arrangements, as well as any items you feel are important to document.
First Look
Love at first sight (depending on your decision to see each other prior). The bride and groom will have a few moments alone, where they will get to see each other for the first time in their wedding attire. This is the most exciting and romantic part of the day. First look typically brings lots of tears and smiles so if you are having a videographer, be sure they capture this moment. Individual photos of you and your groom as well as you guys together. I will guide you through a number of poses around the venue, inside and outside whenever possible.
Wedding Photos
To be remembered forever. Portrait photos of the bride and groom will then be taken. The bridal party as well as immediate family will also join in to document this special time. Finally, we will capture the family portraits once all the wedding party portraits are completed. We will take the wedding party photographs according to the plans and arrangements we made together with you. In addition to the wedding party, photographs will be taken of family members and extended family. Remember to notify everyone of the time we have selected for this shoot.
The Ceremony
Two become one. Photos will be taken from many angles throughout the ceremony. All major moments including the vows, as well as the first kiss will be captured.
THE RECEPTIOn
Let the celebrations begin! We will take photos throughout the reception dinner, including photos of the couples first dance, speeches, cake cutting, bouquet toss and the couples grand exit.

We’re ready to book! How do we go about doing that?
By completing our contact form Once this is submitted, we will send over the appropriate information to get the ball rolling!
Do you travel?
Absolutely, yes!
How far in advance should we book?
For photo shoots, typically a minimum of 2-4 weeks in advance as our schedules tend to fill up quickly. For weddings, 6-12 months in advance.
Do you have a team?
We do! We have a team of several photographers and lighting assistants to ensure your day is captured in every aspect.
Do you pose your clients?
Yes, we do for the most part. We will guide you throughout the entire session.
When will my photos be ready?
For standard photography sessions, 2-4 weeks.
For weddings, 6-16 weeks. Along with sneak peeks during the first week!
This time frame allows us to edit your photos to the finest detail, and prepare prints and albums.
How many images will I receive from my wedding?
It varies by wedding, but expect anywhere between 300-700 images from your wedding day.
We go through each and every image, narrow them down to tell a better story.
Do you provide videography?
We do not, as we specialize in photography. But we can provide some amazing referrals upon booking only.
How are our images secured?
Immediately after the wedding, we backup your images to multiple hard drives. We then sort through thousands of images for the gallery that will best tell the story. Blurry, dark, etc. images will be deleted.
What if my date changes?
In the event of a postponement for any reason, we will do our best to accommodate your new Wedding Date. The alternative dates offered will depend on our availability and the nature of the original wedding date. If we are unable to accommodate the new wedding date due to an existing conflict, we will substitute a lead photographer, along with a second photographer. All team members have been trained to uphold the Widgy Normil Photography standards.
